Vin Aigre, 12 Aug 2024Yes but LG prefers producing TV's and Fridges.Unsurprising since their TVs and fridges are still popular. In fact, I'd say LG missed a huge opportunity to make use of their smartphone as an IR remote for their TVs and fridges.

with a three-part screen we will finally be able to see 16/9 films and videos in full screen!!! all other brands that fold in two are rubbish, have lost too much surface area..

Huawei Mate X5 1Tb 8" is too small and lacking compared to iPad Pro

i love 9.9" Phablet with Pen,
it should comes with 2Tb to compete with same level of the iPad Pro Max too,
otherwise, 2Tb with extendable ultra high speed Card slot then it's ahead.

I think a tri-folding device would be murder to keep maintained. While innovative, true, it's still a hard pass for me.

That might be a disguise because it looks thick. It's been 5 years and I'm still a little self conscience about opening my fold in public. I would be even more self conscience opening this, but it is a true portable tablet.

Its good to see they are continuously innovating instead of resting on their laurels after becoming market leader in China, unlike Samsung.

Just like current unifolds with ~4-5k mAh batteries. I believe bifolds are the way to go as they may allow for higher battery capacities while maintaining a unifold's sff without adding an extra screen.

Good Innovation, 09 Aug 2024I second that, LG was way more innovative than Samsung, unf... moreAnd then there's the matter of popular sellouts on YouTube not taking LG seriously despite the equally capable hardware. The moment I saw both MKBHD and Mrwhosetheboss made a "Why people don't buy LG phones" SEO clickbait fest, that was the moment I completely stopped subscribing and following them. There are far better indie content creators out there worth following like Juan Bagnell aka SomeGadgetGuy and The Tech Preacher to name just two instead. It gave me a whole new perspective in tech review world that subscribe count isn't everything.
