Just turn on your focus mode on digital wellbeing. Select 30 minutes and it will kill the app after that.

YouTube trying to find more ways to stop creators getting money for their videos. I want videos to play all night. The videos are always picked from channels I'm subscribed to anyway. I want them to get their slice of the money. You tube forgets that it wouldn't exist without its creators.
Next it'll find a way to insert ads when you hit pause but all the ad revenue will go to YouTube.

You mean to tell me the stopping music and asking are still here, are you still listening, it is too late, the weather is cloudy and all other things that stops music is not enough. Now I can not just enjoy the automatic abrupt stops in listening to music but I can pay to set it up and tell when/how. I want to listen to music if anything is to be paid for it should be listening to music without disturbance from YouTube.

Auto play should always be switched off.
