Whoever is handling Samsung's Camera department is really slacking off... and not just that they are giving delusional outputs to both their leaders and users.
Running after 600MP ideal camera goal, because some scientific research said that is the resolution of how much human sees. The LOL here is how are they going to feed that much resolution directly to brain or something?
The phone displays have more & less settled around 1080p even for vanilla S, though the highest possible is 4K beyond which it is useless. On desktops & TVs there is still ongoing improvement & scope, but even that may one day max out at 16K which is 132.7 MP.
There is zero requirement for more resolution as long as Samsung doesn't put in bigger sensor behind those lens. Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra came out in 2021 with 50MP 1" type sensor and still outputs stunning results using Samsung GN2 sensor that they themselves never used. Maybe Samsung Camera department go back on what today's world requirements are and include bigger sensors on their flagships? Not to mention, development on low & mid range (A55, A35, A25, M, F series) is piggybacking on wayyyyy older tech & basically stagnant because Samsung does not want to give its flagships better cameras.

I would probably prefer A55 (or A56) over this S24FE. Better to be the head of a dog than the tail of a lion ....

2023 samsung had some good phones but 2024 was so bad ...all exynos and very heavy phones . Samsung is again loosing to Chinese rivals .

To big not standard 6.4 and exynos battery low for screen size flop out the door shame.
Of to Neo 50 when comes 6.3 screen much better

Many years ago they had the best technology called "dual aperture", those phones were seeing at night what I can't see. They discontinued it and downgraded! Instead of keeping the good stuff and add improvements.
With this energy Samesung will leave the smartphone market soon if they don't come to sense.

They're the number one in smartphones of 2024. 😎Hahaahhaahhahahaha charging speed 1.10 h, bad battery life, USB port issues after few months of use, not charging moisture/dust detected issue when there's non of them in the port.. more? Amoled burning after some time.. overpriced.. no charger ( even that uselessly slow charger they won't include), boring Samsung interface, fragile and easily cracking screen, throttling, bad cooling... Amongst all these the battery issue is huge in Samsung and they simply refuse to improve. They just can't complete. After the exploding phones and calls back, they can't even risk to increase performance.

Maybe It was the possibly horrible quality phones that motorola dished out in the last few years that caused.

Being the top smartphone seller without strong competition is boring: no innovation, no daring, no real sense for putting new smartphones in the market, just to make money.

Exynos 2400 would be a huge improvement over the old inefficient 2200 on the 23FE. I'm concerned about the size though. Assuming Samsung still uses the same ODM, how heavy this phone will be? 6.4" S23FE already exceeded 200g. This might be much heavier, but without larger battery will be a huge disappointment. Bit sick of this bulky design by Samsung. Please pick a different ODM next time.
