Chirag, 13 Aug 2024Now it is made in india then what will be the current pricePixel 8 Pro should not cost more than 80K for 256GB

Doesn't this also include the Pixel 8a?
Also considering the long life span of Pixel phones, nothing wrong with Google continuing to sell a previous year's flagship at a more affordable price.
Heck that makes more sense than buying a midrange phone with the same price.

Now with the Indian manufacturing does this mean more countries will officially get Pixels?

"Google India's X account has proudly revealed the fact that the first made in India Pixel 8 devices have now started rolling off the production lines."
Google will manufacture their previous generation Pixel 8 in India and will get all the benefits / incentives from Government of India under 'Make in India' scheme. But instead of selling them in India at the lower price, they will prefer to export these units and thereby increase their profit margins. That's what Apple is doing here all these years. Their won't be significant price difference for Pixel 8.

This benefits only India and some other countries which have good trade policies on import and export duties.
