Things become different when you compare the iPhone to the Xperia 5. Let me put it this way: the Xperia 5 Mk5 256GB and the vanilla iPhone 15 256GB in my country are separated by just MYR 100 (roughly $23/€21). I'm not talking about the Pro version, just the vanilla one. Yet when you compare the hardware between the two*, it's completely night and day. If you want the iPhone 15 Pro 256GB, you need another MYR 1,000 (roughly $230/€210) on top of the Xperia 5 Mk5.

The SoC is disappointing at this price point.

"Which pixel 9 are you getting" poll is missing "I'm not buying any of them" option.

personally it would only be the sony as i will always want the 3.5mm. am surprised the sony is well matched price wise with the s24 as i thought it was the most expensive bar phone thats not a fruit.

Ok, why is there no option for "I'm not buying all lat"

None. I'll be getting an older pixel at huge discount. Imagine paying exorbitant asking price for a newly launched phone especially a pixel.

If they copy things from Apple, I wish they would make 9a same as iPhone SE. One 50mp camera and that is it.

When does the embargo test end? I want to see how the Oneplus 12, the S24 Ultra, the Vivo X100 Ultra, the Oppo Find X and more in their category destroy this!! Now, I think I understand Google's new direction, it is the second phone in America, apart from the iPhone, perhaps they don't want to compete against their clients, let's not forget that Google is a software company. So maybe what they want is to compete for market share against Apple in the United States and gain more popularity! Well, that's what I think, from how I see the decisions they made with this new line of pixel 9

Google lies about the screen size of Google Pixel 9 Pro XL that it has the largest screen; the truth is Huawei Mate 60 Pro has the largest screen which is 6.82 inches & 114.4 cm2!

Noone above, not at this price and there are better flagships out there is one and only correct answer.
                                Right.

Oneplus 12 is 6,82" display, Pixel 9 is 6,3. You guys should comprehend that not everybody want a bigass tabletphone.

And no, I'm not making things up about the prices. Both Google Pixel 9 Pro 128GB and Xiaomi 14 Ultra 512GB cost MYR 5,199 (roughly $1,179/€1,069). To give you another perspective on how bad Pixel 9 series pricing is, the OnePlus 12 512GB and Vivo X100 Pro 512GB cost MYR 4,599 (roughly $1,039/€949).

The other option in the poll: My phone already outperforms the Pixel 9 lineup.

Oh, and it was cheaper too. Literally less than HALF the price.

Google is charging $1800 CDN for the pro XL 512GB. I paid around $775 CDN for my OnePlus 12 512GB. No trade-in necessary.

The prices Google is asking for is a complete joke. For a phone that certainly has less performance and worse battery life than the one I'm holding to type this comment right now.
