The article is wrong. Google India store lists the display as LTPO. Wifi 7 and Google VPN are still missing but that is due to goverment regulation.

This can't be it because, when I checked the Google Store in my country (Malaysia), it says the 9 Pro XL display is a Super Actua display (LTPO) on the spec sheet.

Galaxy S and Moto Edge by early November already cost half compared to price they are in February/ March.
G85 barely more than few weeks here, price has been cut 25% on Motorola website.
Edge 40 is today half of its initial price. That since before edge 50 pro got announced.
50 Fusion announced 400 euros in EU, but less than 250 dollars in India.
Taxes do not make product basically 100% more expensive.
