Google's Zoom Enhance is finally here, check out these sample images

They were shared by Google's own Peyman Milanfar, who worked on this feature. Zoom Enhance was originally announced back in October 2023.

    The squirrel pic looks more like a painting at that point.

      Still won't be as good as Samsung super zoom.

        This isn't actual zoom. I get same results for ANY image if I throw it into Ai image enhancers/upscalers. They just predict what the thing is suppose to look like and fills in the missing "details" that were not captured in the first place. That's not a photo, that's just Ai generated image with use of reference image.

        Looks cool, but when you think of it, is that really a photo you took or just some random photo of a squirrel that you download from the interwebs? It's about as "yours" as such "enhanced zoom".

        Also when you're at such point, how about just not using crazy zoom levels that can't capture any details anyway?

          I have to admit this is impressive even though it isn't anything new if you play video games.

            so amd's fsr or nvidia's dlss for photos?
