Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 leaks with a much faster GPU, CPU will get a boost as well

A leaked slide advertises a 40% improvement in GPU performance, presumably compared to the 7s Gen 2.

But because there's a hole in the market and they want to capitalize. They want to make people buy 6 series chips with the name of 7 series. Mediatek does the same for midrange and lower parts, they just change up the name slightly sometimes and make it an insignificant upgrade, just sidegrades. Qualcomm is capitalizing on that by making their own sidegrades. Low cost but high volume due to being used in midrangers, also people are more likely to buy a 7 series than a 4 series for example so yeah. Just predatory tactics.

I miss the time when a larger number generally meant better, now customers need to do some galaxy brain maths to figure out where the product slots in. Wish someone made a constantly updating website for all this one day, would be cool to clear up confusions of the average consumer.

            I wonder if it will just be under clocked 7 gen 3. Cause they don't really have other chips in the same ish range

                Qualcomm is doing all it can just to keep up with competition from MediaTek.
                - They reused the 8 Gen 1's GPU in the 8S Gen 3 and 7+ Gen 3.
                - They Introduced S models and Plus models just to outshine MediaTek's Dimensity 8 and 7 Offerings.

                Qualcomm is doing this not because they care, but because of the market heat!
