A question that everyone should ask themselves, especially those of technology understand at least a little.

BUT
Complex games and Complex apps (future apps with AI) will benefit from multicore.
Because if that Games or Apps need to run multi-action, then it will need multicore.
Example:
You're running a shooping apps, normal simple shooping apps just show you some you're search and do nothing.... Thus Single core is good
Future apps might be analysing what you're doing while shooping, and also need to show you the search result.... DOING 2 things at once... Thus need multicore
In Summary,
Single core bench really nothing. Multicore is really the important one

I could even mention 2023 smartphones here, but it won't make any difference.

Android games are basic and they no need any multi core enchacements to run them. What they only need is stable GPU performance, so no, the higher single core performance the better for Android gaming.

My phone with SD 888 has a around a 2 tera flop (single percision) gpu which is basically a ps4, the current 8g3 gpu is basically an xbox series S/ps4 pro. Easily handle them its if they are optermised for qualcomm gpus that will be the issue if any (btw my phone plays the gta 5 clones at 60fps).
