Apple has reportedly settled on a foldable MacBook with an 18.8-inch folding screen.

          Anonymous, 22 Aug 2024Called it. Again. Samsung will never sell their UTG to Apple. Aye, it’s not like a foldable Apple device is likely to be a big seller and thus would require massive component orders worth millions upon millions to Samsung now is it 🤷

            Foldable screen on laptop just makes the device too expensive without any advantage and at the end nobody will buy it! If they wants something practical, then they should make foldable devices, which can be carried in the pocket like the Galaxy Fold or Pixel Fold or triple-fold device, which will see many of them soon…

              By that time Samsung will probably be releasing their tenth generation foldables

                              Don't worry. No matter when Apple releases it, they will have been the first to invent a folding screen (ignore all the companies currently selling foldables of all shapes and sizes) because only Apple has the courage to innovate.

                                The concept images look pointless and...dumb. And very unlikely for Apple to have brought it to market to begin with. Much to risk for a very, very niche market segment. Fun for the r+d department and maybe they can implement in 5 years.

                                  Why not just accept what we all know already? Apple are always ages behind.

                                        At least, i can somehow fold my foldable wallet at peace before spending outrageous money from any upcoming Apple smartdevices. If only Apple tried to create, in advanced, a foldable iPrinter or a foldable iProjector that would be better than a usual common MacBook that is already foldable, noticeably speaking. 😂🤣👌
