I got it a few days ago. So far it runs smoothly probably due to the 90hz refresh rate, but it definitely not running as fast as a premium Android phone, but this is fine. I paid 150€ for the LTE version, it's handy, the Android version runs well, I prefer to read website on this instead on my phone! If you expect premium hardware for under 200€, you should look somewhere else!

True,IPS tech is now owned by LG, but it was first developed by Hitachi in the '90s. TFT is an older type of LCD.
IPS (In Plane Switching)screens are more expensive,have better viewing angles, and better colour accuracy.
TFT (Thin Film Transistor) is cheaper, offers fast response times,but limited viewing angles,also lower power consumption.
Samsung has developed PLS (Plane to Line Switching) as an alternative to IPS and claims improvement in viewing angles and brightness.

Anonymous, 23 Aug 2024Blame the Korean company. This is a chinese company that ha... moreI did, that's why I complained too in the comment to see the absurd situation; I have a tablet that is very nice, nice ram, very nice screen and DPI, but it's kinda useless since it lag A LOT due to no support.
I use it then only at home for maintenance and for my devices, that's okay to use.
I did flash it in the past with another rom, but this time there isn't anything anymore.. And it's the LET version, so I can make call if needed.
That was peak at the time, the tablet was very, very nice.

The 90hz refresh rate is the only thing that makes this better than the tab a9, which is slightly cheaper, and has a better soc but both have low res displays. Unfortunately there aren't any better ones on the market

And bef... moreSamsung's indeed better, albeit very slightly. What's worse is the 8gb-RAM version of base Tab A9 is hard to find if available at all, since they need to push the sales for A9+.
I'd choose the original Pad SE 2 instead.

Cos I remember being turned off buying tablets as so many people said they couldn't make calls and sms.
