            That is why they call it TFT instead.

              And before someone says "Samsung uses TFT", it's IPS and they always gave it that stupid name.

              But aside from it being 90hz, Samsung has the better chip, lower price (64/4gb starts at 127 euro, 128/8gb at 170 euro) and much longer software support (and while I don't like Samsung, I trust their claim more)

              If the Redmi one drops by 40 euro or more from the launch price it would be more interesting to get.

                This tablet is so cheap that Xiaomi cannot even afford a stock photo with real person.

                        Even tough it cost 129 Euro i still dont want one. For me tablet needs to be something 10 inch screen at least. if it be around 8 inch then it's not much different from a phone with 6.8inch screen to take as mini tablet.

                        I rather spend 100 euro more on Redmi Pad Pro with 7s gen 2 that is low end of middle class performance but still good enough to last few more years and wont be as slow as this G85

                          Pointless tablet, slow processor.

                          You can now buy the Redmi Pad SE for about the same price if you look hard enough online and it's way better!

                            Should have had t615 with ufs 2.2 storage and and at least 6 gb ram.

                                It can already be found for 120€. But Redmi Pad SE 11' is almost the same price, and it is a better value, plus it comes with faster soc and 128 gb base storage.

                                  One of "these" tablets again. 800p screen, 4gb ram, 64gb storage.

                                  I miss the days of the nexus 7. Shame we haven't had an evolution of small android tablets

                                    No better than my Tab S2 8" from Samsung and yet, they stopped the software support ... Tu launch new electronic e-waste. Officially stuck on Android 6 or 7 ...
                                    Such a shame.
