The next series is much more interesting in terms of evolution than the iPhone with more new features: 30% faster than the previous generation, 18% larger battery, better finish, 90W fast charging for the Pro and a priori a telephoto lens for the global model. Maybe even the screen will be brighter. AI compatible unlike the iPhone 15 Plus which came out less than 1 year ago at €1000

Apple never wanted to sell cheaper models. Their cheaper models are seen as entry models to trap users into their ecosystem and eventually sell them the more expensive models. If they didn't have the Android competition, they'd only be producing and selling the 2 high-end models.

Hah! The Plus variant declining? Just like when they sell the mini model? Better just bring the mini back, but make it thicker
for more battery capacity (no more camera bump also possible this way)

Why're they getting so desperate? Is it not bad enough already that they always aim to skin the rubes who buy these things on credit/installments, they now want to broaden that net to catch more marks with additional incremental upgrade SKUs?
Its some very...desperate money-grubby behaviour off late from the fruit company. Some whistle-blower should deliver the interesting details on whats going on in there :D

Don't need more than 1 camera ( never user Super wide mine has)
Don't need " Titanium frame"
Only downside is it has Apple's modem. Surely worse than Qualcomm's

There's definitely a psychological component to this as well. I'm an android user but in recent years the distinct look of the iPhone is the triple camera set up. If I don't see that I assume you have an old iPhone. If I was going to buy an iPhone I would want to see the triple camera set up. Not the dual ones like on the standard Iphone.
Therefore I believe customers including myself would want to go for the iPhone pro and pro max. That's what the standard iPhone is now.
This is my perception anyone else feel the same/different?

Expectation: sell like hot cakes because of new colours, dedicated camera button, upgraded processor and exciting AI features.
Reality: ugly colours on pro models, processor 20% faster overall but overheats and throttles quickly, half-baked AI features, and the dedicated camera button is nowhere as useful as the discontinued mute switch but it will sell well thanks to OS and security updates.
