[deleted post]You don't need to look very hard for reviews on the Xperia 1 VI, and most of the feedback's rather negative at least on the camera side of things.
May sound okay if the rest of the phone's good but software support's bad and really, why purchase the most expensive Xperia if you don't care about the cameras...

Most of the reviews now by the mainstream reviewers are little more than overviews. They typically spout off the manufacturer claims and are very careful in the wording so that even the obligatory 'negatives' are written in a way that makes them not seem not so bad. They are all businesses trying to make money and that is the ultimate goal. It's understandable though as that's how awards and review companies/businesses in the tech industry survive. Their major revenue is based on marketing.

EISA awards are a joke. Its a corrupt organization of relatively worthless and reader-less small media organizations that dabble in tech lifestyle. So they live off selling awards in countless cattegories to the highest bidder. Companies that announce how many EISA awards "they got" are only diminishing themselves in the eyes of the public, completely opposite of what an award is supposed to mean.

Sony phones meets each customer demand. But, they exited phone business in many countries. I was Sony Ericsson phone user, they were the best and durable.

Didn't expect a Reno to pick up an award. It has been a long time since any Reno phone had a cutting edge feature. I only remember the OG Reno being the first with periscope lens.

alright Xperia 1 VI is the winner, buy it fast, don't think about anything else. It's the best camera phone.
