          This has existed even since the era of dumb phones so to speak, in many Motorolas, Samsung, Nokia, it was in the Lumia that it began to become popular, Sony has also been using them for quite some time, but as always no one paid attention to them, until Apple is going to use that button on its new iPhone. Expect a wave of Android phones with said button again because Apple, as always, is going to popularize them.

            in my opinion it's acceptable (in this case and not always, like with the crappy UI changes) because I paid 600eur for my oppo find x7 ultra on launch, the problem I have is when non-chinese brands are copying apple. for example scamsung with OneUI 6 and 7 are blatant apples iOS copies because of which I don't care if my phone whose whole market share depends on having apple features is copying apple (chinese brands HAVE TO be like iphones because iphone is a synonym for a smartphone in china.)

                having a capture button is copying apple? nice clickbait but I think it'd be a cool feature. Better to have more features than less. But why does this phone look exactly like an iPhone lol looks like every android phone is going for the iPhone look now. Sad. The Xiaomi Ultra phones seem to be the only ones exempt from this change.

                I don't really care if a design looks good or bad but I don't like the act of blatantly copying, and I despise it on flagships cus why am I paying so much for the phone if you're going to cheapen the experience lol

                  I remember there being a capture button on some past feature phones. So not exactly new tech, but Apple will most certainly claim it is.
