EnCRAPification in full effect.
No charger in box, slow charging, slower SOC. Is Samsung trying to force us to leave?
If it wasn't for limited brand available in this part of the world I would have ditched them long since. They can't even claim increasing costs because all components are previous gen.
Major disappointment.

and others all have bigger batteries(which actually translates to better battery in real world usage from tests)
whilst offering much faster charging speeds than any Samsung to ever exist

The iPhone gets the powerful Apple Bionic chipset and Pixel 'a' gets the same Tensor with the same 7 years as the flagship Pixels. When it comes to "Scamsung" we can expect the worst of the worst at ridiculous prices.

"...opted to go with a downclocked version of the chip. So that will be a clear step down in the FE from the vanilla S24" So, 3.11 vs 3.2 ghz is a clear stepdown? Ok, whatever. Maybe it's a step up, if the chipset is more efficient. S24SD has around 20% better battery life than the S24EX.

Mayonnaise, 03 Sep 2024I see you never experienced fast charging with that comment... moreSamsung's S24 Ultra goes from 0 to 60% in 30min. I think the good part is, that 60% lasts a good 6 hours of intensive use compared to the 4 hours of intensive use by other phones with 70% battery life.
(LOL most phones have problems lasting 8 hours with 100% battery life, so let's drop the crap about 8 hours battery life with 70% battery life).
At 100% i get a good 10 hours of relatively intensive game play, typically on moderate use I'll have ~40% after 16 hours outside. I would gladly give up fast charging for the ability to charge less often.
