If you are okay with a poor software support in the long term, then you can buy knowing at least that :)
And I might add that is no bashing AT ALL, I always liked ZTE and the more maker the better for customer. But it's like Asus and their software update ... It's a lottery 😎

CamoGeko-XDA, 03 Sep 2024Price cuts because nobody is buying these phones. 😆No not really. Nubia's doing good in Asian countries, they're gaining traction there. The camera hardware of the Z60 series is really good for the price as well as performance and battery life. Hope they'll focus on improving on their existing 2-3 years of OS updates life cycle.

I've had the Z60 ultra since release and I can say it's damn well worth the money. Pictures are far better than my eyesight (no I don't need glasses) I literally use the zoom camera to read things far away that I can't otherwise.

The hardware is built great, I've ran it through a tap and made sure to get water in all the ports, there were no issues besides speaker distortion until the water dried.

The software is a little buggy on occasion, I've noticed some small things such as "hey Google" not working when the screen is off and the fingerprint scanner not detecting your finger when the screen is off (found a workaround, just turn on AOD and customise it to make it black), but these are small things for how much phone you're getting. The updates have also been coming every few months.

I had bought a Z50 Ultra and thought the hardware was very good, battery life unparalleled...the software was a disaster. So many bugs everywhere and the worst was the lack of updates and security patches. So never again.

Did you check their website that they give 3 years os update warranty? :)

          Here's official statement:

So no OS support ha? You say? :D

Even though Camon promised 3yr support the camera software is buggy which spoils the exceptional cameras(it's like a hit and miss) ... But then it's a compromise we make to save money.. Can't expect Apple level quality at 1/4th of the price!!

Price cuts because nobody is buying these phones. 😆

I'd avoid these phones as you will get basically hardly, if any updates and they never fix any of the bugs. Cheap isn't always the best option.

Jeez the Z60s pro looks a cracking deal in the UK anyway, that's a lot of phone for 499 pounds even if the updates are sketchy. Pretty sure they have promised 2 OS updates (android 15 & 16) and a year of security after that, even if they are months late haha

The Chinese version of the Nubia Z60 ultra seems to have been decent for updates. Which Nubia model are you referring to that had an update in August from January?

Having an update from january in august isn't great 😂

Nubia's pricing is better than other Chinese brands in Europe at least for their flagships. Nice to see
