90% HR and 82% VO2max accuracy is actually bad.
Goddam marketing trying to polish a turd.

Unfortunately, these devices are not accurate at all. The nature of measuring what it claims is 100% fake. It only does an educated guess. A freaking GUESS, because its not drawing blood and measuring the molecular content change over the passage of time. I thought gsmarena was better than this, c'mon guys!

I have a GW6 because I got it with my phone and because, as a smartwatch (no health stuff) it does everything I want.
But I don't care about healthtracking, luckily because Samsung theird wearables never did that part good to begin with.

The study was probably sponsored by Samsung. That's why they didn't compare them with any other smartwatch brand. Lol. Nice try.

Yes, but Apple, Huawei and esp. Polar are 98 to 98% accurate.
Samsung Galaxy Watch has already been tested against these by The Quantified Scientist and it fails miserably, esp. with HIIT-training, weight-lifting. Also, it's sleep tracking is really bad, worse than many devices 3 years older.
Really, Samsung can't do sensor accuracy. They keep trying and failing every year.

Still the user and your personal doctor knows best how you feel.
No smart watches needed.

we wholeheartedly believe any US study, especially those asked/purchased by producers. Never had issues with those, especially in last 5 years..

The Galaxy watches are still significantly less accurate than the Apple watches in terms of HR and sleep tracking according to the tests done by "The Quantified Scientist" (great youtube channel to see how well each smartwatch is doing in this department)

I still don't get why the Watch Ultra is a thing, just slap more battery on the base Watches, add a cool new rotating bezel and that should make it worthy of being the best watch already. The only cool thing is that it has 10 ATM rating compared to 5 ATM.
If all the Watches are similarly accurate, why bother getting an Apple clone for more?
