Anonymous, 05 Sep 2024I can still mess up with data/obb folders. Maybe it depends... moreNot the built-in vendor's file manager, though. Sure there's that hidden "Files" Manager (the one with blue icon and white folder) that already built-in on AOSP, but again to make it act like a normal File Manager that you can access everytime, you still need a 3rd party app.

It also spreads the stigma that all Androids have trash cameras when only a watered down version of the default can be used. Even GCam would've done better but muh privacy lmao.

It's dumb as it limits the choice on what wallpaper we could use due to the colors overriding the whole system.

It's already Android 15 and Google still couldn't fix the lagg in Android especially when installing/updating apps on Play Store. LOL typical Google

                        I vote "Material You sucks".

It's the Messerschmitt KR200 of UI design.

Do you really not understand how important it is that android supports vintage apps natively? Dropping 32bit support was a mistake just from a compatibility standpoint, doesn't matter if it looks cropped or doesn't utilize the entire screen, FUNCTION OVER FORM.

[deleted post]Material You is literally for people with shi*** taste. Same goes for the Flat Design Google pushed in the last decade.

It looks ugly, it wastes a lot of space, and it's not even using proper colors. Dark is more of shades of grays than black.

Like the other person said, 10/11 was the last time Android got a clean up to use less resources. 12 and beyond is just a waste of time generally speaking. No new groundbreaking feature got introduced and Google is just using Material You as a poor excuse for doing nothing.

The last good android was 10/11 after that is hideous miss

Just like how some games work well on older Iphones but not so well even on the latest flagship Androids i.e. GTA San Andreas.
