Root of the problem is RAM.

Imagine if I didnt have Warranty, I had to pay the price of almost new laptop everytime they change the Motherboard.

Thjs is beyond idiotic, for a simple Ram issue whole motherboard should be replaced.

If this runs even close to the speed and efficiency of the Snapdragon chip, I don't see why anyone would want to buy a computer with Snapdragon. But I sincerely doubt Intel is able to make an x86 chip that runs at the efficiency of an ARM chip when AMD hasn't been able to do so and AMD has been outsourcing their chip making to TSMC for far longer than Intel. The 20 hour battery life that Intel is claiming sounds like a pipe dream.

Have they sorted out the massive oxidation and corrosion issue that affected ALL 13th and 14th generation Intel CPUs, in this particular batch? Or are we consumers going to be the guinea pigs again for this generation too?

They were quite good with sweeping all the bad PR under the carpet to the point that not many people are aware of the scale of Intel's goof up with the 13th/14th generation CPUs.

Would be interesting to see how this compares against Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite.

Is intel finally giveup making its own fab. So they don't have to fake names like intel 7 etc etc to make its product looks cooler but actually obsolete tech with rebadged brand.

For now i could forgive intel,

As long that it makes price cheaper for consumer. Am all ears.

                              Stay away from Intel.
2023-2024 13th and 14th gen Intel Processors are fatally flawed and may die within 1 month or 1 year or 2 depending on your usage.
                              Intel admitted it.
Best way is to AVOID INTEL FOR A FEW YEARS..

I'm fed up with Intel and its false promises.

My current machine is actually made up of a 13700k (at the moment it doesn't seem to show any signs of wear), but fortunately, I had already applied different settings on the voltages and disabled that HT crap (which seems to have been dragging on for decades at Intel)

All under a Noctua NH-U14S radiator, with double 2000 rpm IndustrialPPC fans.

The next machine I buy will have to be (because I decided so) a Handheld Console that incorporates a 30-40W Strix Halo and a 40 CU RDNA 3.5.

This will be the right time for me to finally retire the PC too. (and Intel)

I don't know how I feel about Intel not using their own fabs. On the one hand, it means Intel will have access to TSMC's cutting edge nodes. On the other hand, Intel is outsourcing their chip making which may stifle development of their own chip making processes. I'm hoping they're only doing this because of the recent problems with their chips and won't turn into a permanent arrangement.

                                        Nice!

Soldered ram at 8533mhz sweet poon!
PCIe 5 storage, BT 5.4 Great.
But still only TB4?! There's your bottleneck!

A lot of corporations may not like the limitations of 16/32GB of RAM! I know a few employees running databases locally on device that may not like that restrictive threshold.
