Android has a huge competition among the mobile makers, so they keep pushing out new models every year but apple fanbois gona wait for an apple phone only! APPLE don't have to churn out new models with a number change every year, they have a plenty of time to make a model with a drastic change. Doesn't make a dang sense this company once worried about an environment refused to include a charger in his handsets.

The most development that will ever happen is happening right now in that segment. 5/10 years from now there’s a much more likelihood we’ll be hitting the point of saturation and maturity.

Anyway, As a fan of iPhones who has been using Android his entire life, these 16 series will definitely sell like hot cakes as per usual. One day I'll definitely have both Android (specifically Pixel once they ditch Samsung's foundry) and iPhone. I really like the design of iPhones. Very reserved and moderate; nothing too crazy.
Specification is of no concern of mine, as I know for a fact that whatever they put on the inside, it will blow the competition out of the water, like every single year. Their Bionic SoC is second to none in terms of efficiency; it's mind-boggling that no competition could come close to that for so long.
