smart phone launches are a joke these days. we're almost at the peak of smartphones yet apple trying to stay relevant by changing camera positions and keeping displays locked at 60hz. what a joke

Phones seem to have hit a peak since 2020 there's just no more 'big leaps' in design, maybe unless some company brings a proper clean screen with a good selfie cam ( current UDC is shit ) or something else hardware wise it's going to be boring

Honestly now these days and moving forward phones will be looking very similar in design. More development in features, innards, efficiency, battery life etc need very much improvement. It is be years before design takes another leap and am totally okay with that.

What if—and it might be a long shot—the so-called "Capture button", now we know that it'll be capacitive, is just Apple bringing back Touch ID all along? The evidence points straight to it: it's too high up and elongated to be comfortably a shutter button, it looks recessed and very Samsung power button-like, and it's capacitive (speculatively). I may be wrong but who knows?

it looks similar to 15 pro, which looks similar to 14 pro, which is basically 13 pro with a pill, which is basically 12 pro with a shorter notch, which is basically 11 pro with squared off sides.
Hence 16 pro = 11 pro
