Any company can add additional folds to a foldable. But it doesn't mean it's practical with the current technology. The electronic modules are too thick to make a tri-fold really practical.

Printing tacky stuff like "Ultimate Design" on a phone is a big turn-off for me.

what's next? quad, hexa, octa fold... Companies are no longer innovating any more, they are just repurposing old technology and inflating prices. No, thank you

Anonymous, 05 Sep 2024It's not just a phone. It's a phone/tablet.It's mainly a smartphone, and like I said, it can transform itself into Optimus Prime; I ain't paying that amount of money for it

David 040882, 05 Sep 2024Huawei's got my respect for the innovation that they... moreIt's basically targeting people who have plenty of disposable income especially business people. There are plenty of people in large Chinese cities that will spend $5,000-$50,000 on a luxury swiss watch for example so there is a significant market for expensive products. Still, the sales of this will definitely not be that high compared to Huawei's mainstream mate and p series flagships

Looks bold waiting for dimension and crease control.
I heard thisvis huawei's first UTG foldable, even without UTG huawei had superb crease control on my mate xs 2, and nova flip looks like no crease.

Huawei's got my respect for the innovation that they've brought and still bring to the game, but there's simply no way I will pay $2000+ for a smartphone, no matter what it does.
