I do not understand why do Chinese companies have to bring so many phones on the market. This is radiculitis. Just do a good phone for every budget class and not 5 flagships phones and +15 other phones that work and look almost the same. Damn

At least, having a handful of alternative options, is simply better than having no options at all.

But this is 16:9 ratio so will being shorter it is significantly wider and worse screen to body ratio..

So that phone has a much larger volume overall

But I concede you did prove that 7000mah does exist at that thickness despite the technicalities

Ever since, I had many more bad OLED experiences but none of them were as bad as that first horrible Samsung OLED experience.
That doesn't mean that OLED has become good tech ever since. It's still the same flickering eye straining trash experience every time.
That's why nowadays I only buy phone with IPS LCD screen. If you like your eyesight that's the only possible option.
          You're welcome.

Whenever I hear the word OLED, I turn blind instantly and I get optical seizure.

For me only a phone with IPS LCD is worth buying.
I will never ever fall into the OLED trap again. Never!

You hearmi Samsung? No more cheap flickering OLED displays for my sensitive eyes.

                    OLED is trash

remember 3 years ago when 350 would've gave you a more premium midranger with three functional cameras?

                      I miss those days :(

7s Gen 3 is all that required for battery efficiency but till the time 7s Gen 3 phones come, you'll have 3nm TSMC chips ready by Qualcomm in 7 Gen 4, 7s Gen 4, 7+ Gen 4 & 6 Gen 4.

So I‘d still fall back to 1080p30, because the improvement in resolution is not worth it the 4x larger storage requirement for me. Meanwhile, 2x storage for much smoother video is nice and makes a more noticeable difference.

Even though it's produced by Samsung, 6 Gen 1 is still a major improvement over 695, especially in terms of recording (4K instead of 1080p) and performance. Yeah I understand they should've gone to Dimensity route for better efficiency, though.

Also whoever did this article did this phone dirty

Why put "6gen 1" and "6.77 OLED" as the headline

Couldn't they have place 6500 mah over one of those specs

Wouldn't that serve gsmarena better to get more clocks or traffic via engagement.. poor handling man

If you keep the comparison one dimensional and compare number Vs number you can easily write it this off as "only the battery"

Now if you view from the perspective of smartphone history and battery development stagnation...

This is indeed generational we are talking about si-carbon batteries going in mass production/mainstream

On gsmarena we have another si-carbon honor watch 5 with 15 day battery..

And you say you'd prefer 20g lighter 5000mah but I believe youll change this idea long-term why?

It's very possible over the next generations of si-carbon battery chemistry you will have to completely rewire your expectations/measure of how heavy bigger batteries are

We may get to a point where tomorrow's 6000mah is as light as today's 4000mah
