OnePlus 13 confirmed to arrive in October

Same phone as op12, just new soc, new battery.
Just like iphones.

    I expect at least a micro curved panel, which is what is being rumored, and an ultrasonic fingerprint reader and a 6,000 mAh battery!

      Looking forward to it I really hope there's no curved screen but most likely they will.

I have a feeling Oppo will want to make a really good impression coming back after so long

            Nothing new. Only the number is being updated. And the price too. No anti reflecting display. No scratch that starts at level 7. No nothing. Overrated company.

              looking forward hope the screen is micro curved and not deep curve its main reason why I didnt go for the Oneplus 12 and decided to hold out, I'll buy the chinese version cheaper and flash oxygen :) its gonna be big jump coming from 3 year old Xiaomi mi 11 mainy battery life

I think it's better than releasing later as phones that release later than the "early adopters" are usually seen in a poorer light like for example the X100 Pro compared to the X100 Ultra.

                        Since rumours say the camera is gonna improve on the Oneplus 13, I'd say 900 bucks would be acceptable too, i just want them to have a "mid-tier" flagship killer as well, something between the 13R and 13. Imagine a 13T with the camera specs of the oneplus 12 but with a dimensity 9400 and priced lower than the IQOO 12 was. It'd be a killer device I'd say!!

                          Even though its not gonna happen, I'd love if oneplus threw a curveball and went with Mediatek instead of snapdragon this year (due to the massive price hike on those chips) and actually somehow reduced or kept prices the same as last year. That would be impressive, but unfortunately it's likely they will have to increase the price by at least 50 dollars per storage variant...

The Oneplus 12 and Oppo find x7 were both launched in China though and so will the X8, X8 pro and Oneplus 13 and this year at around the same time according to the leakers anyway. Oneplus targets the online market more and OPPO the offline market although in the last couple of years Oppo has started selling Oneplus phones in their offline stores in major cities in China. There are still differences and probably more differences this year compared with last. For example the Oneplus 13 will have a better screen than the find x8 and find x8 pro and both of those will come with dimensity 9400 whereas the Oneplus 13 will come with the snapdragon 8 gen 4. The find x8 will have a similar camera setup to the Oneplus 13 alright but will be more compact and probably have a flat 1.5k screen. The Oneplus 13 will also have a better motor and ultrasonic fingerprint sensor which the standard find x8 won't have. Also the Oneplus 13 will probably be priced between the find x8 and the find x8 pro so the price might be slightly different (based on the Oneplus 12 which was a bit more expensive than the find x7). This is just China though. Internationally it could be different. I agree that they could take sales off each other but I think they also don't want to lose sales to other brands like Xiaomi and Vivo and if they delay either of them they might lose out.

                                Imo if released they would be taking sales from each other so not the competition, in addition be limited to those who are renewing or upgrading then, not three months down the line.
                                Having another cycle removes that

                                The camera island are another common feature to both however Oppo X find once we're Snapdragon however they have adopted Dimensity flagship SoC.
