The Motorola Edge 50 Neo is coming to India next week, will offer 5 OS updates

This mid-ranger is equipped with a 120Hz LTPO display, a telephoto camera, fast wired charging and extended support. While not tiny, it's smaller than most Androids.

D7300 is around 700k so next 5 years be no problems with it's performance. It wont get so many OS updates too to get it slow under Motorola. Do they even give 3 OS updates ?

        Motorola are really improving. Keep up the good work

          It's clear they make phones for every possible category of people.
          Lenovo, my category is:
          flat display,
          5g,
          at least 90w charging,
          at least 5000 mha,
          at least 8gb ram,
          at least 128gb memory,
          fingerprint side mounted

          It should be nice to have:
          jack audio, (i know but i didn't say must to have...),
          radio

          a moto g55 with 120w charging should be perfect...

              Is this part in the article for the reason that to show the Edge 50 Neo beats S24 with 310mah more battery in a larger phone body with weak bottom middle class performance and cameras.

              Edge 50 Neo 154.1 x 71.2 x 8.1 mm
              S24 147 x 70.6 x 7.6 mm

              Not fair to even use A55 as an example cause it's price have dropped from 450 euro to something 350 euro but that have 5000mAh batter even tough it's with 6.6inch screen too. A54 is same 6.4 inch screen with more bezel then Edge 50 Neo but also had 5000mAh battery so it's really weird on the Motorola part to point out that they have 310mAh more battery then S24 that is a lot smaller body phone while for it's own is already weird that it is not 5000mAh as expected standard on phones with 6.4 inch or larger screen phones

                With that specifications and the asking price?! I'll better buying Infinix GT 20 Pro with half the price 🙄 and OS update? On Android? What?! Do you think it on par with iPhone?? 🙄

                        Far weaker than many chips from years ago.
                        Quad A78 is nothing weak.

                            Moto is really hitting out of the park with this one.
                            First feature complete midranger to have an LTPO, Telephoto, wireless charging, compact size, Mil-STD rating & on top of that 5 years of OS updates. (I’ve heard a lot of complaints about Moto’s lack of updates)

                              That's good for the price... it's just that I'm not sure if the D7300 can last up to 5 years OS. But maybe not much changes because Motorola uses stock Android.

                                Damn so they really are committing to 5 years of proper updates. I had my doubts that they might try to spin security updates as os updates so the 5 years is actually 3+2, but no they explicitly list security updates as separate from the os updates.

                                  I doubt all markets get these 5 years.
                                  Some places , Motorola website has mention 3 androids for 40 neo , but you do not see this info for other places it is sold.
