Pointless purchase, like with any other brand doing the same rehashed, copy and paste shortcuts. Do not buy flagship phones for at least 5 to 6 years, it's the same old crap. Same lenses, same camera hardware/software and stagnant innovation. S23 ultra was their peak and they knocked it out of the park with that one, it's all downhill from here really. I'm definitely moving back to Huawei once their new OS is launched, by far better devices.

Upgraded UWA is great, but 3X need to be upgraded even more. Upscaled IQ from 3X is pathetic. I use 2X more often to just avoid using 3X. But doesn't matter now. I'm probably moving to 16 Pro. I can't stand the size and the sharp corners of my Ultra. Shame Samsung is giving best cameras to the biggest brick phone not everybody wants.

I nearly always support the underdogs, unless their products are so bad it doesn't make sense to purchase from them. And even if someone isn't an underdog, if the product has extremely great price-performance ratio, why not get the product yk?
Like, as an asian, the most important thing for me is value. What am I getting for the price I'm paying? I go for the phone that gives me the most bang for my buck.
And you got it exactly right, they're using their brand value to leech off of customers. Shady!!!

Simple thing to do is not to upgrade. Phones have gotten good enough that we can keep them long term and then buy the next thing. Samsung does not have incentive to do more drastic upgrades as there is little competition in markets where they have a market share. Plus most of their sales are not flagships but providing "value for money".

there's no innovation in years.. pointless market. i reduced my appetite from 4 flagships per year to one Flip per 2 years. the chase is over. i'm not getting anything i want anyway: light weight, display without notches, fast charging (on some brands), SD card, jack, notification light. this market became a cyclical utility boring place, with everyone except foldables offering exactly the same boring product. i can't care less what's being released next.

They manufacture their own display, their own camera, even memory and many other things, but use cheaper hardware than all other mobile companies, barring apple, but still at the end of the day, are still pricier than the most.
Defending samsung is now just like defending apple.

Smartphone industries, it's now less innovative, so we will wait until it gets better upgrades in everything we will wait.
People just judge phones by their looks, but not their performance. Every year they just change the aperture. Little weight, but not the censor sizes. I've already owned s twenty two ultra and twenty four ultra, I don't think as S25. Is worth for upgrade? Ah, it's better if we. Ll, we will wait for S26. It can make a change.

I don't like this new design at all, it looks like an Apple. Samsung is losing its way and saving money on screens and a lot of other things. Horrible
