But I think BOTH the hardware and software need to improve, if others are orders of magnitude better in terms of hardware then how's it supposed to be competition lol
Like back in the Note20 Ultra days, Huawei had a similar/the same sized sensor basically, but now even Huawei has a 1 inch sensor, a better UW cam and a more competent selfie cam. Samsung really needs to update the 3x and the main cam at the very least. They're gonna do it, just slowly, it'll take till 2028 for them to reach 1 incher, good UW cam, competent 3x and a good 5x.

Camera again... Might be too old, but tbh i haven't seen anything worth photographing with high quality on my continent (Europe) for years. ;)

The current sensors are fine. It's the processing that needs to improve. Look what Google can do with crusty old sensors. The s24 ultra has improved greatly since launch with software updates but with new ISP and better algorithms it still has a higher ceiling.

People should stop buying these so called premium products which is a scam,no real hardware updates, no real changes in design, just some software gimmicks tagged under AI. you can get the same hardware for 1/4th price. I do agree the camera performance will be better but the margin of improvements is getting small you can get a chinese phone and edit the photo with potential software or even inbuilt editors which will give similar result. apart from camera all other stuff is on par with flagships in midrangers, IP68 rating, Gorilla Glass Victus, ddr5x ram,wifi 6, 5000+ mah battery etc. Stop buying these overpriced phones so manufaturers will atleast try to bring something new.

And 1000 euros S25 will still have the same outdated cameras as S22, S23, S24... same for S26, S27... etc LOL

As long as Samsung insists on the crap ISOCELL sensors instead of using Sony's superior sensors, and on their absolute garbage processing software, Galaxies will continue to deliver one of the worst photography experiences on Android.
Which is a shame.

I agree I would much prefer a better battery life than slimness of the design, however I do like Samsung's screen quality... Plus the customizablity of the Samsung. Like I don't think you can even change the font on the Google pixel 🤭

I stopped using Samsung despite for the last 10 years Inhad only Samsung flagships phones!If they don't bring any noticeable upgrade,why they are releasing year after year the same copy paste phone?To milk for more money?I fed up buying a Samsung only because is Samsung!I am using Honor Magic 6 Pro ,after I had a S24U,an Ultra with problems as USB Type C damaged after 4 months,could not charge my phone anymore,because was detecting "humidity" !Same problem since S10 ...Scamsung are using old technology,no more this brand to me 🤮🤮🤮

I've been using Android ever since I've owned a smartphone. I'm longing for the day where the battery's efficiency will be close to that of an iPhone. I understand that it's maybe less of an issue with fast charging, wireless charging, etc., but it would just be something nice to have.

Sooo the Base/Plus model will keep the same wide and telephoto camera for 4 years in a row?? I was expecting them to upgrade the 3X telephoto across the board.

walkman8, 09 Sep 2024They gonna use 10 mp sensors till 2030 lmao Apple apparently increased the 16 Pro in size to accomodate the periscope telephoto camera that they couldn't fit in the smaller 15 Pro last year. If Samsung also increases the size of their upcoming vanilla S25 (per previous rumors) without upgrading the 10mp telephoto, then that would just be a hilarious joke.
