I just want to remind everyone that the Huawei FreeBuds v5 exists.
They are regular earsets (NOT in-ear buds) and they focus on Ultra Comfort. They also come with a decent level of sound quality, volume, battery life, and ANC. Just like that Apple is following the competitors again, and Huawei is underrated.

Look... honestly... we have so many tricks in software and the dacs inside the airpods that it doesn't matter much for 99% of people.
Personally, I got a Fiio BT11 and wireless modded a pair of Grado 325x's and a BTR15 to get LDAC-HD... but I'm autistic...still, I'd say my old airpods pro's were perhaps the best product I ever owned, so idc much about the codac, they sounded great on AAC and I assume those will sound even better.

I still can't believe so many people and "journalists" do not ask a simple question - what BT audio profiles are supported by Apple? Without that information all discussions around music quality and HiFi are..for other conferences

Makes me wonder why they didn’t give the AirPods Max as much love…
Sometimes I feel this is worth it over the Max… except for the lack of ear tips.

Not to mention Buds Pro that were miles better.
