I heavily doubt the ANC will work well unless Apple's engineers pulled a massive magic trick, ANC only works well when you've got a good seal and passive isolation doing a good chunk of the work too...
Samsung has tried open buds ANC before and it did nothing

Lister, 09 Sep 2024The competition out there is fiercer than ever. The cheaper... moreThe ANC one is ATM just 20$ cheaper than pro 2nd gen. I know the non pros are easier on ears, but with that design you wouldn't get a similar level of ANC(where they charged 50$ for it)
IMO everyone are either going for the base model or pro 2.

The competition out there is fiercer than ever. The cheaper airpods will be well received, and the noise cancelling version is competitively priced IMO.
