If you're not a gamer, it's totally useless. On the other hand, OK, Apple could/should have switched to 90 Hz. 90 Hz is better than 60, but 120... Pff.

We been wrong with that desert titanium color, it gorgeous with that new wallpaper - its amazing. Just its Chinese fakes that made me feel that this color is like turd

Thing is though if I wanted an iPhone I'd just get an s24ultra as I don't like apple products.. But I don't feel the need for either.. I just get the best value highest spec device for gaming that has flagship grade chipset. My devices are dying after 2 years of heavy use anyway so don't need the extended software update support you get from apple/Samsung plus the way Ai is going ram will be increasing faster meaning a 2+ year old device will soon be outdated.. The device I'm using has 8gb ram and it's not enough for warzone mobile.. All the lowerend devices that use to have 4gb ram now have 8gb ram. Soon it will be 12gb ram. Generally apple needs around 2gb less ram to do the same tasks as Android so even taking this into account the lower end apples seem like a very bad choice.

Really all I need is a big screen with 120hz and flagship-ish processor. I'd be forced to go for the pro max. The only people getting 60hz iPhone will be people without the finances to afford a better version but can't live without apple. They may say things like I don't need 120hz etc but the reality is they haven't got the money for anything better... Some people just have to have that apple badge.

In general a nice update with the IPhone 16 Pro Max. @GSMARENA team: When it will come to a test of the IPhone 16 Pro Max, please check whether any productivity features have made it into the phone (like split screen, where a user can operate with two apps being shown next to eachother on the screen - inkl. drag & drop). Another point of interest is, whether the IPhone can display content on a connected external 16:9 monitor without that letter-boxed / pillar-boxed crap of previous generations. Interesting in your test is, what is the bigger screen size good for. What has Apple done, to make that bigger screen size in an IPhone 16 Pro Max meaningful for the user? What's about a dektop mode? What's about a screen orientation system wide - based of the information from the phone's orientation senseor? How is the reception quality in the mobile network (LTE and 5G). Maybe you would find a reference corner in a garage for tricky reception conditions, where you can compare the IPhones and whatever other devices in your tests? A lot to find out during the test of an IPhone 16 Pro Max, dear @GSMARENA team! I'm so curious to read your findings!

For most of that time, I’ve had two phones simultaneously. Currently, I’m using the iPhone 14 Pro Max. With this experience, I can confidently agree with the points made here.

The iPhone is a necessary smartphone in the US due to the popularization of iMessage/FaceTime and it is expensive like everything in the style of American capitalism. In other countries, you can live with a Poco with a good battery that is cheap and comes with a charger and case. Also, modems in iPhones are among the worst in terms of communication stability. The iPhone is not a luxury, rather a sectarian hype in third world countries.

But Whether its late or not enter in the cam physical button arena , the i-fan will proudly say , this apple great archievement so far which samsung ,google or other chinese brand dont have 😆😂

It's really not nice of Apple to release a 60hz phone in 2024.
Last year iphone 15 came with 60hz
S23 base mode came with 120hz and was even cheaper (I may be wrong about this tho, can't really remember the price).
I'm just saying this because probably the people that really like iphone like it to the extent that they're just addicted to the company that has logo at the back of it and they just spend money on buying anything that they release.
There's nothing new, it's like copy and paste of the previous iphoes that they released and then say somethings about "Fastest iphone ever, Strongest build on an iphone"
To me, there's no difference between the 15 pro max and the 16 pro max, you might say the processor is new; but this is like the 15 pro max with an update only to bring A.I.
