Looks good and the price is cheaper than competitors. The only reason I'm stuck on android is that Apple does not support sideloading apps like android. I didn't watch the presentation I hope there was some improvement on the screen flicker/pwm.

    Successfully wasted an hour or so, listening to the same old s***, with the new terminology!!! Not updating from 14 pro max :(

      But kudos on the new shutter button, always a welcome addition.

        Let's not forget that, while the display is bigger and the bezels are smaller, it's highly likely that it's the same panel with the same brightness and no advanced coating like in the s24 ultra; that is saved for the 17 pro or Ultra whatever. Also, they're definitely saving the advancements of face ID or lack thereof for the next iPhone as well, so this is another skippable iPhone imo.

The new iOS 18 looks good, but that's just the software. The new "camera control" button seems pointlessly over engineered, why couldn't they make it a 2 step button like on cameras but with capacitive slide function? It's just confusing to use (I've watched the presentation). Siri seems to have a lot of cool features and integration, but my language isn't supported and I'm not gonna talk in English in my house so I'm still keeping it off. All this AI stuff is for me also pointless, doesn't help me actually do anything faster. The battery life seems interesting though, I hope it's as good as they say

That honestly should be standard across all sensors on flagships, and yet no one else has done it except for Sony, and they've only done it on their main sensor while Apple has done it on both their main sensor AND their ultrawide.

            Otherwise, nothing to be really impressed by.

              That shutter button is genius, watch the space, all Androids will start incorporating this button again, the button they removed. How embarrassing!

                I rather go with IPHONE 17 Slim next year than this Junk

                  Samsung will not even have to try hard to top it by S25 Ultra and that's sad. No hardware innovations and Apple is so behind when it comes to AI.

                    the great thing about the 16 series is since they're not exactly an upgrade over the 15 series, anyone who wants an iPhone can just get the 15 series for cheaper now.

                    Like seriously, apart from the bog standard chip upgrades and a tiny increase in screen size that's actually detrimental to usability considering the phat aspect ratio, there's no huge change. Upgrade to the UW cam is nice but that's it. What changes happened to the main cam? Only God knows lol

                                using 11 pro from launch, as much as i prefer using an iphone, this one didn't excite me at all. Plus the 'intelligence' part made me gag
