Everything that apple provides was found on an android years ago. Apple literally just takes software features found on android first and puts it's name on it acting like it has just discovered fire. Also I didn't know that you were using an HTC phone from 2013 to compare an Iphone of today since what you describe of android is simply false and biased to it's core. Like sure I'll give it to apple for providing 'ground breaking' services and ecosystem for a small price of thousands of dollars when you can simply do the same on android for free with the right tools and knowledge. Heck if you argued apple is simpler and good for people who just want a simple phone I would have agreed with you but my a fanboy stays a fanboy huh

If you were saying Xperia 1 III, Pro-I, Pro (2020), or 1 II like mine though, it's true the 4K@120fps HDR video capture is only possible with its main camera, and the one for 1 II was brought in the Android 11 update after 5 II introduced it first.

The same old useless "your phone lags" reasons for 10 years straight. I got news flashes for you buddy, besides those "awesome spectacular camera zoom animations" and the Apple pay integration, there's nothing so good on an iPhone. I have the 13 pro max and it has noticeable lag every time I use it (and no it's not broken, I baby my phones and it works like new). It doesn't bother me because I'm not revolving my life around phone animations like you seem to do. I also use a fold 5 since last year because I want to try something new. News flash, it's a lot faster than my 13 max and also has a TON of new and actually useful features that iPhones don't. What does your precious iPhone do that's so amazing? Make AI emojis? LMAO what are you, 12? Siri is still stuck on just a couple of languages, the cameras still lack a pro mode for serious photography/video, the photo quality is abysmal, I bought a compact Sony camera for photos just because of that, the charging speed is still prehistoric, the battery decayed tremendously in 2 years (at 72% currently) and the phone constantly overheats when the temperature is above 25°C (that was a huge surprise when I took the case off one day and it was extremely hot, tested it more afterwards and it's a thing). I don't really know why I'm still using it or if I'll ever buy another iPhone again. With these new ones it's clear Apple has no intention of innovating anymore, there's nothing to see here anymore

Because the imx903 expected to be used now can easily wipe the floor with LYT900. Something like 40-50% more light intake ( at double price by the way).

These iPhones have gotten way to heavy, galaxy S24 line has improved tremendously on battery life and it's weight. There's really only software and face ID apple has.

In case you didn't catch it by now, when Apple talks in hyperbole, they specifically talk in comparison with their previous iteration. They don't even recognize Android as their competitor, as Apple is in their own league.
Just look at their software features; Android is nowhere close to that. Android can't even get their camera zoom experience right without stuttering to this day in 2024 flagships. Android is all talk but less optimization. Their hardware and software don't work in harmony, and that's a fact! That's the bitter pill for you to swallow.

Wasn't the event supposed to be live, at the SJobs theater, what happened? Anyways, was kind of interesting to people interested in AI (and English speaking/writing only) but overall it was a bit boring. Long gone are the days that Apple events moved communities and impressed everyone all over the world and all they needed was that guy on stage in a black turtleneck.
