            this camera control button will replace all buttons in future iPhone devices and oh boy! these buttons all over the chassis and with 3D touch display back with improvement would make iPhone more appealing again.

                          I see Xperias mentioned alot and so a quick peruse of this phones icon (years old) I can mimic the features listed but WITHOUT haptic feedback. (Try it you'll be surprised)

                              Camera button is an old thing for sony xperia users. Iphone has nothing to add but to borrow an idea from its favorite brand sony. I bet samsung will copy this

                                    We've had buttons like this for ages. It used to be camera butttons and then evolved to programmable buttons.
