What I really would like to know is about the keyboard. Will we se something new (or at least well copied ) or will need to face the same bad models than before. The keyboard is the only key detail that makes me not buying Samsung tablets since Tab S7.

Just bought a used Samsung Tab Active2 (just for fun, it's super slow and super low res screen) and I'm wondering how I could ever loved physical buttons so much once upon a time? I can see the point of physical buttons while in the field or something. But in my home? Nopes, gestures are much easier and makes the tablet cleaner and easier to handle.

      11 inch model is needed.

I'd love an 8.4in iPad mini competitor, the S9 in an iPad mini size would compliment my 11in tablet perfectly.

The plus and ultra models are too large for my use case

Samsung should take a note out of Apple's book and launch their tablets with a powerful laptop grade chip. It would open a bunch of possibilities for app developers and game devs to port their software for it. My Tab S9 Ultra is amazing and I love it but it still runs on the SD 8 gen 2 like so many phones, it defeats the purpose of having such a big device.

Juraj, 10 Sep 2024That notch is killing me. Why do you do this to tablets and... moreThey could've repurposed those bezels to feature tactile navigation buttons like earlier Samsung tablets. Instead, they have used the same Wingtech design seen on many non-Samsung tablets, further hampered by the notch that does more harm than good to the design.

The S9+ is on sale on Amazon US for $699.
Unless you're a MediaTek fan, buy it.

A freaking notch on a tablet? Yikes.

DemonSpeed, 10 Sep 2024They found a way to put a pen in a phone but not on a freak... more🤦‍♂️ The answer is obvious. There is a clear difference in size between Phone Stylus and Tab Stylus. Also the Phone thickness, S24U for example is 8.6mm while this new Galaxy Tab is 5.4 abd 5.6mm thick. I don't think it's best to use petite stylus on a big tablet

Juraj, 10 Sep 2024That notch is killing me. Why do you do this to tablets and... moreThere should be an option to hide it in settings. It's on my Xiaomi (phone).

That notch is killing me. Why do you do this to tablets and even some laptops, this is crazy stupid. Using thin bezels on tablets looks good only on pictures, you can't hold it properly without touching the screen.
Is there at least software fix to hide it?

They found a way to put a pen in a phone but not on a freaking gigantic tablet?
                        What Am I missing here.

Samsung probably spent 24 hours for these tablets because all the parts are ready from the leftovers of the previous generation.

samsung uses almost 1 year old chipset when the new gen is about to come out, same battery/size, price increase
this is even worse than apple
at least apple would add an apple pencil upgrade or some random marketing gimmick
                            samsung doesnt even have those

Wow, 0.1mm thinner. And 1100 euros please!
Compare and contrast with today's Huawei launch. Please don't pay 1100 euros for something with zero innovation.

                                Samsung be like:
"Clean a little, Change Chipset, new OS, DONE!"
                                "That'd be $1000."

                                💀
