Ps5 was launched 4 years ago and prices just increased instead of reducing, Sony half production cost since 2020, but what they care is just recover loses, because they doing terrible this year. Ala Concord fiasco. Let's have a look at ps5 pro. Litteraly same console as ps5 with little bit improved GPU. It cost as much as ps5 launch GPU for Sony, meaning entire console cost exactly same to produce as ps5 at launch. They didn't improve anything else, No CPU improvements, no RAM improents nothing. 2TB is peanuts these days it cost same as 850GB at ps5 launch and finally no stand or disc drive, which original ps5 had. In summary Sony decided to profit from ps5 pro sales raising the price not because some shitty inflation or whatever you believe is going on. Simply Sony loses money and that what they decided to do, milk gamers to cover their loses, because they desperate and then you desperate you should never milk customers, because Sony now is huge meme
No games and with dead consoles like Ps5 pro.

Spotify increased their subscription price
Netflix increased their subscription price
Adobe increased their subscription price
etc.
A lot of companies had to increase the price of their product for the company to survive, and people complain because of this and a lot of them would do refund and complain. If companies don't increase their price, there will be a lot of layoffs in the company which is becoming more common these days, and these dumb people see the news of those layoffs and blames the company without even thinking for a second. All they see are just numbers.

Gamer, 11 Sep 2024well, PS5 is not 4k :) It might say so , but what you see o... moreNor this PS5 Pro can do native & stable 60fps @4k without using gimmicky upscaling trickery. 8k is also another gimmick since most household ain't gonna spend $$$$$ to buy 8k tv's, not to mention it should be atleast 60" or above tv's to appreciate such resolution.
