Every brand knows about the feature/specification leaks and dummy units, etc. Those brands are not dumb, as they know Apple is a trend setter (for better or for worse), whether you want to admit it or not.
So they had all this leak information and tried to anticipate it by creating their version of it much earlier before the Apple announcement. So blind people like you could come out and say, "We had it first before Apple, see!"

Lmao, these comments. No-one relevent cares if your 2015* Android was "first" to have the dynamic island, or if anyone "copies"? Smartphones have limited options for design in the first place. This place will explode in petty squabbles when the next phone is released with a camera button,

Dynamic island is not a feature for god's sake. It's a flaw, given a fancy name. Why is it being copied!!!

Please, just... Just stop. Stop copying dumb things. Stop ruining the UI. Give us back the normal Android control center/quick settings panel instead of that iOS nonsense.
