Based on online reviews: the Pixel 9 Pro has the best battery life compared to the Pixel 9 (not too far off from the Pixel 9 Pro), with the Pixel 9 Pro XL in the last place (not too far off from the Pixel 9). This was under the web-browsing scenario using cellular and WiFi.
It does make sense given the Pixel 9 Pro has an LTPO screen, higher resolution, and the same display size and battery size as the Pixel 9. The XL sibling has to push a higher resolution screen (compared to the Pixel 9) on a bigger display size yet, with a 7.7% battery size uplift only.
Not certain yet about their standby time, local movies, streaming, or gaming scenarios.

I've had a terrible experience with the Pixel 9 XL and wish I'd never bought it and this is why:
1. Phone won't charge with pixel stand gen 2
2. Phone won't charge on wireless Quad Lock charging head
From what I understand from Reddit and Quad Lock the charging coils on the 9 XL are poorly aligned.
I've got copies of the chats I've had with Google support but they really aren't interested and haven't provided any solution. There were other issues as well and googles response was unhelpful to say the least and totally inflexible. Perhaps this product was rushed to the market to quickly.

The only metric you're referring to would be viewing numbers and which phone spits out larger ones.
There are many real world tests out there, from people who actually own the phone, proving the P9P can out work the S24U's snapd chip. (So don't let yourself get too depressed.)

My only issue is that I had to disable UWB in order to pair with my earbuds. Once I disable that, it paired super easily. The Pixel Watch 3 paired easily though, before I even disabled UWB, so maybe it's the 4 year old tech in my earbuds?

Great little phone so far. My only grumble is that within 24 hours, 3 little scratches appeared on the screen just from being in my pocket. Never needed a screen protector with my Pixel 5, 7 Pro or any other phone before. Has anybody else had this issue?

I haven't found a good solution around the dry finger issue. In my case think it might be because of the screen protector but between face unlock and extend unlock, I only find myself having to use the fingerprint sensor. Maybe 10 to 20% of the time.

Still bums me out that the tensor is not competitive at all with the latest snapdragon chip. Tensor is simply inferior in all metrics, and is even inferior to the last gen snapdragon.

What, the Pixel 9 series is without reverse wireless battery charging!..... I shall stick with my Pixel 6 Pro in a two toned Sorta Sunny combination flair and await a far superior replacement chip in 18 months time, by Google, that I anticipate will leave the Tensor chip series in the shade.....My present phone I happily describe as a work of art!
