No one will actually give af about those AI features, they should move on already and start making useful changes, like designing a photos app where you can actually find your photos or organize the settings app. Currently iOS is a mess and starts to fall behind android

Commissioners has already publicly scolded Apple for using this software update to sell new hardware. Which is a clear warning, "the 14 billion euros you lost yesterday is pocket change compared to what brazen planned obsolescence will cost you."

Just for these reasons you never buy a phone for what it WILL possibly BE. Just remember the promise to film with all 3 camera simultaneously. Best course of action: wait another years. If you have am 12 pro max is really not a reazon to upgrade if you are not one of 1% who use all the power of the phone and never have enough power for computing.

Why buy a phone that wont let you install piracy apps. Every app i have is pirated. Free youtube premium, free spotify premium, free netflix app, free movies and tv shows, free app for anime and tv show, free games and apps that are paid on google playstore but can be pirated easily, can have emulators installed and play console games, can have many social media apps replaced with better ones such as a twitch app with no ads without a need for an account, reddit apps without a need for an account, and much more. For what android gives apple just seems like an overpriced trash phone cuz even a cheap android can do everything i said except run emulators like ps2, gamecube anything too OP for the phone but anything smaller it will run it. Soooooo yea iphone is useless.
Also every app i have has no ads. Plus with the Blokada app downloaded from google not from trash playstore. It works for free and gets any add removed from anything 99% of the time.

My guess is that Google was overreaching on the privacy front and had to be pushed to make it obey EU privacy laws. It seems USA has very loose privacy laws except maybe in California where they seem to be closer to EU on that. Once they fixed that, they were allowed to release Gemini thing in EU.

Uh? There is a balance between corporations and regulations. Neither should ever be overreaching, but sometimes one has to be otherwise the opposite one will become overreaching. Usually governments (assuming they are not corrupt) do it for the good of the people. Corporations always do it out of pure greed.
A lot of mega corporations, including Apple got so big they are influencing entire governments and have almost unchecked power over nations and competition. If market doesn't keep them in check and neither do users who throw thousands of dollars at them every year, someone HAS to keep them in check. Someone has to keep them accountable and someone has to keep them in check so they don't overreach things. Because if overreaching means they'll make bigger profits, they WILL do it. Even if that means selling out your privacy and your rights.
Markets and capitalism itself have shown they cannot regulate themselves correctly because of corruption, bribery and cartel deals all with goal to just make more money at any and every cost that isn't monetary. They will gladly ramp up their profits at cost of your health, your paychecks, your job itself. Someone has to make them regulate.

Then it's better to skip iPhone 16 and wait for iPhone 17 because by that time apple will be able to launch the device by including AI gimmick out of the box

I'm Apple user and a very long long time Apple users but I didn't blame EU or Apple. In fact, I wanted no AI shit in my phone OS be it iOS or Android. Did I say Android? Yes, I use both iPhone and Android phone as my daily drive. But, lady luck on my side as my iPhone 11 won't have the AI shit. Can't say in the future though 🤦🏻♂️
