Anonymous, 12 Sep 2024you clearly don't know jack $#!+ and still comments? b... moreSo, look up the patents like I did. The patents are for the design of a foldable phone, not for manufactured parts. You are saying I don't know jackshit yet don't even know that patents are often very barebones and just ways to protect ideas. Did you already forget the first showcases of foldable and rollable screens? Newsflash, those were often shown by the likes of LG or Motorola, not any of the big companies releasing actual phones with these screens. They develop the design for the hinge, but the screen itself is USUALLY outsourced. That's also something you missed, I'm pretty sure I never said that it's always the case.

Tablets are multimedia machines for many people and therefore good speakers are a must. There's a reason even cheaper tablets put a lot of focus on their speakers. If anyone is coping, it's you bro

Anonymous, 12 Sep 2024"Releasing something like this isn't that difficu... moreI did in the comment you answered too. This is very niche. The amount of people that actually want an even bigger Foldable is small, especially due to the downsides that come with it. Speakers sound worse because of the limited space, the weight distribution is all off, the aspect ratio is weird, not to mention the camera limitations. Huawei (like many asian brands) released a crazy phone like this mostly to catch the attention of the west, but they too know, this will not sell many phones. Me personally, I'd rather have a scrollable screen.

There's a reason why Foldables suddenly saw plenty of cheaper alternatives after a while, for the same reason. I don't it will follow here though, since this is just too niche.

Those using big tablets usually get the expensive ones which offer a bunch of things a tri-fold simply does not have, like an advanced speaker system.

Anonymous, 11 Sep 2024i find more use cases with this over the 2x foldables I could see this phone being a MONSTER multitasker, heck even the ad shows guy doing stock while doing another thing. I could see this being used to run SIX apps simultaneously with that kind of screen, assuming the SoC is powerful enough anyway.

The target audience in China will be the bank director, the hospital director, and any medium-size owner director. Then, movie star, smart academia.

By GeoPP, it would be the choice of west asia (gulf country) too. Especially their leader. And this will make it popular among their business owner / business director too.

Most other companies just don't care to release something as niche as this. Normal foldables are already niche, this is simply too impractical even for the majority of users already on a foldable.
