Denigrating competitors without providing any facts to support your statement, how are they "second-rate"?
Lastly, drawing an analogy between the CPU/GPU of smartphone to the hairs on the tail of a horse is illogical, how a horse runs isn't impacted by the hairs on its tail.
A better analogy would be the engine of a car, and I know that if I paid for a new Ferrari I would want the engine to be making 800HP and not 400HP! LOL

Google's Tensor chips have always been bad, slow and overheating. The G4 is only fasterthan the 7+ Gen 3 in the first 3 seconds of a benchmark until it starts throttling.

Since Kirin 9010 is on par with Dimensity 8200, there would ultimately be a second gen model with a newer chip. But how the newer chip will perform is a completely different matter.
