YUKI93, 12 Sep 2024€300 for Snapdragon 4 Gen 2? I'm not convinced though.... moreI highly doubt this would be released in competitive markets, as those "competitive" phones only exist because of paid promotions. Regardless, they could've compromised on anything else instead of the chipset.

LOL. Let's create a modular ecosystem without the modular components ready to go. Yeah and then they wonder why it will fail.

This brand can one day become big in the mobile industry, of course maybe! But not with this product, which has nothing special and is going to be sold at an expensive price, this mobile phone will be crushed in the market in front of its competitors.

It's hilarious that the Home of Mediocre Devices went ahead with something better companies like LG and Motorola failed to make catch on.
At this point, I start to suspect that company is just a massive money laundering scheme ahahahah

Anonymous, 12 Sep 2024People here: I want something new, something different. ... moreI don't mind the price, but I think it can have a better SoC. HMD always have the habit of giving less powerful SoC for the price. Even the HMD Skyline has the same problem as you have the similarly-priced HTC U24 Pro with a much more powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC.

€300 for Snapdragon 4 Gen 2? I'm not convinced though. Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 would be a better choice, especially since you'd spend more on the modular accessories. Also, 4 Gen 2 isn't made for mobile gaming. Not that you can't do mobile gaming with it, but it's not what it's made for.

If this would have at least HMD best performance chip they have like SD 7s Gen 2 in it then we could talk about this thing as somewhat interesting. But as it has that SD 4 Gen 2 or 3 in it then it's useless. Even 4 Gen 1 would be better as that is pretty much same as SD695 while 4 gen 2/3 is like Helio G80 with 5G modem

People here: I want something new, something different.
Same people : Too overpriced, it should be $150 at most
Still Same people: I would pay $400 if it has body of iphone 13 mini, cam system of x100 ultra, battery life of 1vi, 8g3, 16gb ram, ufs4.0 , LTPO with peak 4000nits , usb4.0 and commitment to receive android 22.

If HMD thinks they can do what Motorola could not with its Moto Z series, then I’d like to know who their supplier is.

Just a one-trick pony. Good in modularity; bad in everything else but what's probably the selfie camera.
