idk about others but i am skipping this generation because of the lackluster 12 mp telephoto. i go to a lot of concerts and my friend who has a samsung can zoom much further and clearer. I won't jump to the android ecosystem just yet because of my itunes library. but, i am really tempted because of the zoom features.

1) 80% of H's total sales were in China
2) Huge % were Honor branded phones
3) P and Mate together in China + overseas were just 1/7 of their total sales.
Seriously , you think company that except the three iphones SE , has not sold any other phone below $700 would care about other that have majority of their sales were Enjoy, Y and Nova series.
Funny you and other believe fruit has any kind of power over their gov while
the same fruit obey everything imposed by EU and China. Where is their power?
By the way, the man that allowed the sanctions ( former president) had samsung phone ( s3). He gives 💩 to Apple. He even wanted to force them to have products assembled in USA.

Ok, there's nothing new but all around ok phone....but since everything cost so much now, at least for us in Europe, we have to prioritize rent and food, soon will winter come, and out electricity bills will cost 200% more than 3 years ago....so it's no wonder that people is not buying it more then they used to buy previous models, even if it would it be better than iphone 15.
It's good, for apple, if they don't sell even less.
"We all" are holding our phones a little longer that we used to.... especially since innovation is slowing down and there's almost nothing new in new models.
And prices is going up...but for most, salaries doesn't....so they all need to fight for our spare money, and sooner they understand that, better for them.
( And that's not just phone makers in between them self, but also they need to fight with all other companies that wants to sell something)

im pretty sure that starting from iphone 13 series up to 15 the volumes shipment couldnt reach 100M units . In Q2_2024 apple global market share shrink to 16% and small diff higher than xiaomi 14.9% .whereas sammy at 17.9 %. Dont thinkcurrent 16 series will sell well either.

Just like, Apple's problem is that it is closed garden.
So ban was more of political step by US government, which Apple supported whole heartedly.
This is what I understood. Not an expert, so didn't dive much.
And not fanboy of anything. Normally, used to purchase things which helps me for long term.

1. You can play RE4 or so on iPhone 16 Pro.. not iPhone 13 Pro.
2. Better heat dissipation.
3. CPU like M1 chip.
4. Dual 48 MP + 12MP vs triple 12 MP camera system.
Yes. Same form factor.. but to say they are the same is a stretch.. Then again.. casual do not care.. they will wield the iP13 Pro like a iP16 Pro.. no difference.
