Pretty sure it's been fixed a long time ago as pretty much nobody talks about it anymore and tests on youtube show it doesn't get any hotter than the average flagship android phone

                hopefully this'll push quaclomm and mediatek further. pretty sure apple's just gonna make a node change for the sake of it, like how the A17 Pro turned out, nobody would've known it was an actual change in nodes based on the performance numbers unless you told them.

                anyways im curious to see how the A18 Pro turns out. If it's 10% faster than the Qualcomm and Mediatek equivalent chips then there's hope for Apple but if it's slower then Qualcomm and Mediatek will take over and we'll finally have the day we all wished for, when android's chips completely destroy apple's chips in all types of workloads.

                        I always had an open mind about people buying a new non-pro iPhone, but since like the 13 series I just dont see how anyone can be stupid enough to get new non-pro instead of a year old pro

                          Apple couldnt even control 3nm A17 or A18 chips with the random heating issues and now 2nm? Future of smartphones is doomed. Hold on to your Old smartphones and take care of them.
                          Luckily I've got SD8gen2 S23Ultra.
                          I was about to sell it to buy iphone 15 pro but read bad reviews regarding heat.
                          Sigh!

                                        They should only sell Pro and discontinue all other. Also stop discontinuing older Pro models.
