Apple is really competitive, price-wise. Instead of getting the "awesome AI" Pixel 9, I'd rather get the iPhone 16, for the SAME price. Of course, I can't afford either of them so I settled for Edge 50 Neo - it's fairly decent.

Got my desert titanium pro max today, and as expected, I hate the capture button already.
Its pointless and awkward to use, I probably can get used to it, but it really is not worth the addition.
I would have rather they added more functionality to the camera app instead of adding a pointless button, more control over the post processing and colour toning in the editing app would have been really useful for dialling down certain colours.
The capture features could easily be added to the camera app.
I am not a fan of the new tone map function being limited to JPEG and live photos only.
It is actually a very handy and powerful little function hindered by apple again.
My black watch ultra looks slick but somehow smaller even though I know its the same size as the other models, Happy with it, looks the part while being a bit more stylish then the silver (In my opinion).
Overall this set of releases was pretty drab, and only because I get yearly upgrades did I even bother picking the 16 pro max up.
I suspect the 17 Pro max will be more of the same, 48mp for the telephoto, new chip, new colour and IOS 19

Anonymous, 20 Sep 2024Maybe Apple should release an iphone every 2 years.Maybe this proposal that can be dismissed by 5 seconds of turning one‘s brain on (one does not have to buy a new one every year; if someone wanted to buy a new phone 3 months after the new one comes out they‘d have to buy a phone that is 1 year and 9 months old tech instead of just 9 months old) should stop to be blurted. Maybe the second-most valuable company in the world knows what they do with their most successful product ever.

they should just reduce the phones to 2 devices, plus and max with a price of smaller device.

The action camera button compromises all phone cases. Because phone case manufacturers all have to make a cut out in that area, making that area the weakest point of the case.

Almost exact same phone again! 128 Storage and no 120hz for 950 euros is scandalous
