Apple iPhone 16 series goes on sale

They are joined by the Apple Watch Series 10, the Satin Black Watch Ultra 2, and the new AirPods 4 and AirPods Max with USB-C.

For those who really care that much about 120Hz and want a new iPhone exactly right now, they usually won’t have a problem spending an additional $200 (the jokes about the base model being for poor people doesn’t make sense anyway, the difference between base and Pro is a difference of expensive vs slightly more expensive). For the rest, for those that don‘t want or need the other features of the Pro, or those who want the lighter weight of the base model (me), or the few who really actually can afford $800 but not $1000, they can wait for the 17 if they want 120Hz, LTPO or AOD.

It still has a weaker chip, no AOD, inferior main camera, inferior selfie camera and a slower usb-c port. There's a reason everyone jokes about the non-Pro all the time for being so bad for the money, it's way overpriced

      Always been an android fan but might go for an iPhone this year. They're now around the same price as Samsung and Xiaomi flagships in Europe so may as well go for the best

It doesn't have the best hardware, their pictures suck. It doesn't have the best software, literally any other software is better than bot having a freakin numbers row and history in calculator. It's brogther screen is only brighter for 10 seconda until it dims down to nonreadable levels because of overheating. It also doesnt have gorilla glass armor, which is a ge changer.

              The base iphone has everything now that the ultrawide has auto focus. Only con I see is the 60hz screen and the 128gb base storage.

                    what a time to be alive eh? An iPhone is larger than a Samsung flagship, whilst also having better hardware (UW cam). The last time this happened was with the XS Max but the S10+ 5G came soon after and tipped the scales again. But I doubt Samsung is going to make the phone any larger.

                    Idk about you but for me, the "Note" was always about being big and having everything. Now it feels like it has nothing, compared to others. Battery ain't the largest, screen ain't the biggest nor the brightest, not the best camera hardware, no micro sd card/headphone jack slot to offset those problems and finally, no real innovation. Just a shell of its former self.

                    I don't think Apple'll sell much of these 16 series phones until they get the Apple Intelligence features out, it seems like even Apple is now going down the android path and releasing stuff before finishing properly. Android used to do that in the past and now we get more "stable" features whereas Apple's did this before and does the opposite now. lol

                          Starting to regret my 16 Pro Max purchase. It's not as I've hoped for, basically an iPhone 15 Pro Max in bronze, and the camera controls are a nuisance but good thing there's a way to disable it altogether. I'm definitely skipping the 17 series after this. Oh well.
