But I just hate when a company tries to imprison the users like in a sect, making all kind of obstructions and complication to prevent the user to choose a mixture of products from different vendors, and using third party parts for repairs.
And note that aPple are not the only crooks in doing this, Samsung and Google are trying the same distasteful greedy method of locking functionality to their own stuff.
And many have companies have learnt that there is a big amount of sales of new phones by making it complicated and fairly expensive for the user to replace a worn battery with a new one. Only a small fraction of users can replace it themselves. And no one in seconds as we could about a decade ago.....

telestarcomgsm, 23 Sep 2024I must say, LG is underrated in the regard of their tendenc... moreI remember back in 2018 when LG started using the tagline, "What's it going to take?" (Same year they made the stupid decision to stop selling unlocked models and only sell through carriers.) Turns out, most people were troglodytes who only consider the logo on the back of the phone and not what it actually does. Really sad to see LG give up on their mobile division, but it came as no surprise.

I don't want to use iphones anymore, they don't know what they are thinking these days. we are eagers waiting to see innovation from last 3 years. apple should focus on what android is offering in technology.

The internet coverage there is so bad that it can't access cloud storage or online radio. It's also why I keep my Huawei Mate 20 since it's the only Huawei flagship that ever existed to have offline FM Radio functionality.

It's not hard to find V60 owners getting such ridiculous battery life, even with the Dual Screen case attached. It's absolute madness! Also, the V60 still has way more capable hardware than the Pixel. Sony still keeps the headphone jack and microSD card slot, but they can't give built-in DAC, stylus support, and custom Desktop Mode. Even four years after its launch, the V60 is still incomparable. If only LG stuck around in the smartphone market and made an evolution model of it with at least a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
