From being ahead of the competition Samsung now finds itself behind of the competition. Not only with things like this, but in general. Look at the latest foldable phones, the competition catched up, and overtook samsung. They should not have rested on their laurels when they had a comfortable lead for years. I like Samsung phones but they really need to step up and improve their flagships, put some highly demanded features in the new phones and catch up again. Nothing to complain about the software support though, that's good keep it up.

        Well, thanks! Now I know that I don't have to wait for the s25. I didn't buy s24 plus for even 600 on tempting deal just because of that charging and their known usb-charging issues.
        After s25 Samsung will be only selling TVs :D
        Such a shame for once an innovator company, and now ..

I have 25W charging right now and it's perfe... moreBro I place my phone in the coolest corner of my room and by the time I do my rounds in fetching something in the fridge and back I have enough juice with my 25W Samsung charger on a Samsung phone. They're not focusing on efficiency, but because the rest are doing it they expect the industry players to also do so.

              Samsung has basically resigned from the bar form factor ever since they started the Fold & Flip.

              All innovations now belong only to Fold & Flip while S series are stagnated on purpose which is worrying. This "Korean optimism" where the crowd is too excited & focused on the top of the line while the 2nd & 3rd runner ups are forgotten way too quickly despite still being potent in their own right. Yeah striving for excellence is nice, but Samsung needs to be practical here. Foldable panels are costly, fragile, and elite. Then common logic says get the bar phone & full sized tablet for much less cost. Each tool doing its job better with benefit of dedicated form factor. Good cameras & communication on phone, superior large display & pen support on full tablet. This wisdom is not going away anytime soon Samsung.

              Samsung hence needs to capitalise on that.

                Because S24 has a small battery, it can charge fast enough despite using lower wattage.

                    I wish the S25/S25+ will come with the anti-reflective screen protector used in S24U. And Si-C batteries instead of Li-ion would be nice too...

                    Samsung should also focus on video quality of their phones, beacuse they get obliterated by iphones in this department.

                            People need to chill out, since charging speed is only one thing. If they improve consistency and charge longer at higher wattages, that will still be able to provide a substantial charging speed upgrade

                              They are doing the minimum as long as they can get away with it and looks like by that comment you posted I can see why
