Mediatek Dimensity 9400 chipset beats Apple A18 Pro in GPU benchmark

The unreleased Mediatek chipset scores 134 fps in GFX Aztec 1440P off-screen Vulkan.

The fun part is that the new Apple processor is slower in gaming compared to the previous snapdragon 8 gen 3: "72 fps on the Apple A18 Pro and the 95 fps on last year's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3"

And I bet, Apple will throttle like hell, which means the performance will be even worst after 10 minutes of actual gaming.

    A18pro just on par with 8GEN2 [ see antutu score ] . Apple 2 years
    behind competition .

      As much as i dont like Apple, they make the best all around SoC on the market.

      Top of the line on the Cpu side.
      Great on the GPU performance(better optimization in games too)
      Almost top of the line efficiency
      Very good 5G modem(qualcomm)

      As for the typical Snapdragon VS Dimensity, remember that Snapdragon always performs better in real life due to better driver support/optimization.

        Who cares about GPU performance... Kids maybe.

I mean, why can't... moreBecause mobile game market is shit and nobody would be playing GTA on their phone if it is not addicted multi transaction ridden gamble game. We can see Apple tried to port consoles games to iPhones and ... nobody cares, so basically you are the problem why we don't have GTA on mobile phones, because you care more about candy crush than proper games being ported to phones 😜

                          Truly amazing. I've been looking forward to seeing the power of this monster chipset on x8 pro and x200 pro. Competition will heat up even more. However, no matter how powerful and good the chipset is, if phone vendor can't maximize their performance, It's same will end badly

Exynos ... moreE2400 in modern gpu benchmarks it's neck to neck with D9300 and better than 8G3, newer games which has modern features like RT Exynos is ahead, when these soc came out it was Only "War hammer" now many games are released like Persona 5 Phantom X and many more are coming where Rdna3 gpu shine compare to others, and because E2400 is much cheaper to make phones with soc tend to go on sale time to time at much cheaper price points. If Samsung was allowed to sell this soc to others I wouldn't be suprised if we had realme or Xiaomi phones for $300-400 price points.
