YouTube Premium is getting more expensive internationally

It's getting more expensive than Spotify and Apple Music even.

well, in my country the price went up 23 cents lol.
it was $4.31.
I’ve been telling people this before and I’ll say it again,
$4.31 is roughly the price of ONE Big Mac with fries and coke where I come from, so basically the price of ONE MEAL.
and I don’t mind subscribing to youtube premium because spotify costs $3.62/month.
I just add 69 cents to that and I get youtube music (which, arguably, has larger music library than spotify) and youtube premium without ads.
I’m not coming back to watching ads no more. huge deal for me.
I have three phones, a laptop, a pc, and a smart tv. I just log in to the same youtube account for all six devices, premium everywhere. it’s convenient.

so, by sacrificing ONE Big Mac every month I get youtube without ads + youtube music + slimmer waist lol.
and hey, I don’t judge you if you use vanced or other alternatives. tried it, too much of a hassle for me installing new version if current one doesn’t work anymore.

      Honestly using opera brownser in home so have no ads in Yutube and in work using chrome with several adblockers which works even with youtube.
      never paid even a single penny to youtube and will never will.
      By the way increasing prices without letting know asks for big fines.

              Google created a weird paradox to themselves where I hate their stupid ads because the way how Google is executing the whole thing with obnoxiously loud and irrelevant ads that totally break the immersion of the content you're actually trying to watch, meaning I'm using an adblocker to block this over the top loud nonsense. I don't use Youtube signed in because I hate Google and their tracking of everything. But I'm forced to use Youtube because there is no other video platform thanks to Google's monopoly on it.

              So, in the end, here I am forced to consume Youtube, not able to watch ads because they are dead broken and annoying on a technical level and I can't buy Premium because I refuse to be a logged-in user. I'm probably a very specific type of user, but still, suck it up Google, it just ain't my problem, really.

                Finally, another reason why we will stick to ReVanced!

                  will never pay for any kind of sub... not from ytb, netflix, amazon... etc

                    People need to stop mentioning the modded apps. That's what gets that shutdown.

                    There's legitimate alternatives like using Brave Browser or Firefox with uBlock Origin extension.

                      Sometimes I doubt on revanced and other ads free youtube alternative apps maybe google playing smart with psychology .
                      Once you addicted to no ads content you have to purchase their product.

                          I dont even understand the point of the premium. It's not like i miss out on something when i dont have it. I dont listen music trough it as i have other apps that i use for it and all of them are free.

                          To pay so much for YouTube that is just ripping off all the content creators on their platform. It's not like paying for premium as the money or part of it would go to the creators i watch. As they get demonetized all the time for talking on topics that the platform dont like with their daily rule changing that nobody understand

Every country in Europe is very different. Remember the USA is a country Europe is a continent, we don't all use the same currency, pricing, language etc...

                                      Received an email in India too.

                                      Starting for October. In INR its increasing by ₹110. That's roughly $1.5 USD.

                                      The new amount will be ₹299 up from ₹189.
